Brenda Parks took the leap into the Ceramics program at NBCCD in 2017 as a part-time student and has embraced a mid-life career change that brings her great joy, balance, and the ability to stay in the present moment. She decided that in order to provide the lifestyle she and her husband desire for their young children, she needed a less stressful career!
Brenda enjoys creating functional pieces that incorporate both wheel thrown and hand-built pieces. She mixes her own glazes at one and loves experimenting with new glazes.
She enjoys creating both earthy pieces and colourful, bright pieces. Variety is key to keeping her interest!
